EXPERTISE

Thierry Dor is the partner in charge of information technology law in Gide’s Intellectual Property, Telecommunications, Media and Technology practice group. He assists the firm’s French and international clients with their IT projects, Internet law issues, e-commerce, social networks, protection and commercialisation of software and databases, implementation of processing and international transfers of personal data.

EDUCATION

Thierry Dor can draw on his 11 years’ previous experience as General Counsel for major international groups to keep abreast of clients’ expectations.

RECENT OPERATIONS

Thierry acts on all venture and growth capital matters that raise specific issues as regards new technology or data protection law. Most recently, Thierry has worked on projects for DJiT, Happn, Molotov, Qwant, Twenga and Viadeo. He also assists clients in their disputes related to information technology, and regularly speaks at conferences on new technology and personal data law: Blockchain, Big Data, IoT etc.
