The certificate of non-conviction is essential when incorporating your company. It is a sworn declaration that must be completed by each managing director appointed according to the articles of association or a separate document.

Please note that this certificate should also be filled out by the representative(s) appointed as managing director(s) of an entity.

You must include:

• in the case of a natural person or natural persons appointed as managing director(s) of an entity, a copy of said person’s ID

OR

• in the case of a legal person appointed as managing director, a recent copy (less than 3 months) of its registration with the Trade and Companies Register – or equivalent, for foreign companies – as well as supporting documents for its natural person representatives
