How would you describe your company? What is the added value/specificity of your business model ?

Ulule is an online project incubator that has enabled tens of thousands of business creators and entrepreneurs to obtain financing from their communities and from all over the world.

Our job is to give the best possible chance of success to business creators. This includes support (both with project owners and brands that come to Ulule to show their positive impact) and a constant desire to innovate in order to offer new solutions to our clients.

As a committed company, Ulule is a pioneer in terms of impact, halfway between collaborative economy and fintech. It is also one of the first 15 companies in France to have been B-Corp-certified.

What did you do prior to becoming an entrepreneur?

Actually, I’ve always been a bit of an entrepreneur. I was finishing my studies at university when I set up my first company, in 1998. At the time, it was a cultural e-magazine, Fluctuat.net, which was then bought up by Group Doctissimo, itself later bought up by Lagardère Active.

Arnaud Burgot joined Ulule very early on from being an auditor at PwC.

In your opinion, what are the key reasons for the success of a startup?

Perseverance and humility are always good starting points.

THE 10 PITFALLS OF SETTING UP A COMPANY

Honestly? I’d rather list the “10 mistakes that help you improve”! So my greatest wish is for you to make the right mistakes, and then go on to enjoy a healthy success.
